Why does the air france boeing 777-300ER have a older ife system ?

Each airline chooses the kinds of interior systems it wants aboard its aircraft, including seating layout and types of seats, IFE systems, and so on. Maybe Air France wanted something cheaper, or installed its systems earlier.
