Are filipinos considered Asian or Pacific Islanders?

I will be taking my SAT's soon, and I was wondering what I should bubble in for ethnicity: Asian or Pacific Islanders? Personally I consider Filipinos to be Asian, but just for the formality of it all, is there some government-ociated group or page or whatnot that would say otherwise. I just want to clear this out before my SAT's.
