Boat Design?

In one of my cles, we have to design a boat. It has to fit inside a box that is 6" by 10". We have to sail it down a "c" that is approximately 3" deep, 10 feet long, and 7.5" wide. The boat has to be designed to carry golf (on average 6 or seven of them) across the c. The materials we can use are wood, plastic, and styrofoam, and we have a 9 volt motors. The container holding the golf has to be separate from the hull. Any ideas on hull design?
