Having trouble with this crossword? (Deep hole in a glacier)?

What is the name of a deep hole in a glacier? I don't believe I'm wrong but I have "I" as the fifth letter...Anyone know? I may be wrong so if you don't know of an answer with an eye you can just say one with some other letter. I'll check it...
