I have a question about pokemon platinum?

I would like to evolve pokemon like haunter electrabuzz and magmar but my nintendo Wireless is not working, That means that i can only trade with people who are very close (in the same room) so I was wondering If I emulate this game on my PC will I be able to trade pokemon between my PC and my DS?
