Why Do My Eyes Change in the Ocean?

This question Sounds impossible and weird i know but i recently went to the beach and my friend looked at me and stared and i was all kike what is there seaweed on my face she laughed and said no but told me that my eyes were like a dark blue and then later that day she said my eyes were a pale blue and i told her that her eyes were like green and then turned kinda yellowish ok the thing is my natural eye color is like light brown i Guess kinda carmel with green in them i don't know and my friend's are hazel can you tell why this happened and how ???????? and please don't waste mine and your time saying its impossible cause i know what i saw and she doesn't lie to me cause she is a really bad liar and she wasn't lying
