Saddam Hussein has been sentenced to death! What are yout thoughts?

Saddam Hussein did some terrible things, but I don't support the death penalty under any cirstances. Let's not forget that the U.S. government was friendly with him up until the day he invaded Kuwait. Furthermore, he is to be hanged, which is rather draconian.
